Lean Lexicon A Graphical Glossary for Lean Thinkers eBook John Shook Chet Marchwinski
Good glossary for Lean management, it's crucial in understanding the voluminous jargon that is associated with LEAN. However, I really dislike the set-up of the book, since it is a glossary, you would think that it would offer a index in the back for quick look-up references as it is intended, however there is none. It is difficult to find anything in this book if you are not trying to read it "cover to cover" and it is not useful to try to read the side-ways word references at the top of each page. I believe it would have been more inspiring to organize this in a "LEAN" way, rather than a half-assed one.Product details

Lean Lexicon A Graphical Glossary for Lean Thinkers eBook John Shook Chet Marchwinski Reviews
The version could use a better index but nearly all of the terms are here. And if they're not, they will be in the next edition.
I am preparing myself for a six sigma certification and I encounter this book, after reviewing I found that it is an important reference book for any process improvement specialist
I would have to say this book is effective as a reference book. It is a requirement to have this book by my desk to ensure I can reference terms I don't use a lot but want to expand upon. Highly recommended!
Very good Lean tools reference with good descriptions. It's a lexicon, so it ins't designed to teach you Lean thinking.

Anyone involved with lean practices and principles in their organization or schooling should invest in this book. There are several terms related to lean and each term is explained with examples. The spiral book is perfect to keep handy for any lean activities or studies relating to the subject matter. The book is available at a great price as well.
